Christian Leaders:

It’s so easy when we don’t stay focused on God to get discouraged, disappointed and disillusioned, making our faith journey more cluttered than committed. If you want the ingredients to help your congregation, consider Faith Commitment – Priorities and Perspectives.

Faith Commitment – Priorities and Perspectives, a six-week study derived from A Slice of Life: A Story About Perspective, Priorities, and PIZZA, offers small groups within your church the opportunity to evaluate the crust (foundation), sauce (quality) and toppings (choices) of their lives. This engaging program helps participants to turn their passive commitments into intentional actions that help themselves, others and their communities.

This study uses portions of the book, A Slice of Life, and also connects to 60 scripture verses and 27 books of the Bible. Chosen passages emphasize the value of personal engagement in all aspects of one’s life.

During this study participants will be challenged to:

  • Do the Right Thing, at the Right Time, in the Right Way, for the Right Reason.
  • Distinguish between passive and active faith commitments.
  • Learn faith promise-keeping versus faith promise-making.
  • Reflect on God’s promises and his 100% commitment to each of us.

The Faith Commitment package includes both a hard copy and an audio CD of the book A Slice of Life, as well as a flash drive with all lesson materials and communication ideas for easy duplication. The base package is $49.95, with a percentage of the proceeds going to the New York City Relief, an organization serving the homeless for more than 15 years. Volume discounts are available for additional books and/or CD purchases. Please read the enclosed the flyer. Also, feel free to contact us at 972.662.3068.

We sincerely thank you for your time and prayerful consideration. We must always remember what scripture says about being active with our faith in James 2:17 and the consequences of being passive in Rev. 3:16.

Continued blessings,

Al Lucia and Brian Gareau

I would recommend this small group study to others who want to get out of the rut they feel their lives are in.
